A business card signed by the late Apple founder Steve Jobs was sold for greater than $180,000 (about 240 million won). That is the best price ever for a ‘signature business card’, and it is alleged to have set a latest standard on this field.

Business Insider reported on the twenty second (local time) that a 1983 Apple Computer business card signed by Steve Jobs was auctioned for $181,183.

Based on this, Jobs was famous for not signing his name, but on this business card, he signed directly within the blank space on the business card in black ink. Alternatively, an unsigned business card that also appeared within the auction was sold for $15,344 (about 20 million won).

RR Auction, which conducted the net auction, confirmed this as “the best business card sale price ever.”

The grey-white business card has the corporate name 'Apple Computer' printed together with the previous rainbow logo, and Jobs is listed because the chairman of the board.

“The sale of a signed Steve Jobs Apple business card for greater than $180,000 sets a latest standard for signed business cards,” Bobby Livingston, vp of RR Auctions, said in a press release. “It’s a testament to the impact.”
