A flying BMW…can fly 1000km on a runway

Flying cars have been introduced to China again. This flying automobile, a modified BMW, is claimed to be able to flying 1,000 km at a height of two,500 m.

BBC and the Recent York Post reported on the twenty seventh (local time) that Klein Vision's 'AirCar' was acquired by China's Hebei Jianxin Flying Automotive.

In accordance with this, Klein Vision is a Slovakian company that developed an air automobile that runs on a BMW engine and regular fuel.

It shouldn’t be an electrical vertical takeoff and landing vehicle (eVTOL) commonly utilized in urban air traffic (UAM), but is closer to a small aircraft that takes off using a runway or road. It has a set propeller on the back and can also be equipped with a parachute for emergency situations.

It takes about 3 minutes to rework from a daily automobile into an airplane by unfolding the folding wings and tail. There are two people on board.

It’s reported that $2.3 million (about 3.1 billion won) was spent on developing the prototype. The terms of this acquisition weren’t disclosed.

“This transaction, finalized for an undisclosed amount, represents a strategic move in advancing modern mobility solutions,” Klein Vision said.

Meanwhile, on the eighth, China's Xpeng's flying drone became a hot topic by completing its first low-altitude flight in downtown Guangzhou.

Also, in america, a flying automobile company called Aleph Aeronatics received test flight permission from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
