ZEPETO won a world metabus event with ‘Bulgari Collaboration’

Naver Jet (CEO Kim Dae-wook, Gam Chang-wook) announced on the twelfth that ZEPETO won the ‘Story World Award’ at ‘MEWS 2023’, a world metabus industry event.

MEWS 2023 is a world event that shares trends and technologies corresponding to Metaverse and Web 3.0, and was held in Monaco on May 2-4. The ‘MEWS Award’, which selects firms that provide immersive and differentiated digital experiences to users, was awarded in 10 categories including ▲Innovation ▲Community ▲Impact, and Naver Jet Zepeto won the ▲Story World category.

The Story World Awards is a category that covers firms which have delivered differentiated storytelling using the metaverse.

ZEPETO was praised for bringing a latest brand experience to users through collaboration with Italian luxury brand Bulgari. Last yr, Bulgari World and items were prepared, and a virtual event was held with Lisa of Black Pink.

Kang Hee-seok, business general manager of Naver Jet, said, “With global brands corresponding to Bvlgari, Gucci, Zara, and UGG, we highly praised the undeniable fact that it provided users with a high-quality and immersive experience within the virtual world, and that it was converted into consumer behavior in a positive way. “We are going to proceed to find interactive experiences that connect virtual and reality along with various brands,” he said.

Meanwhile, ZEPETO announced that as of early May, there have been 3.26 million registered creators and eight.62 million items released by creators.
