Oneji Labs (CEO Kwak Geun-bong), a synthetic intelligence (AI) specialist, announced on the sixth that it has launched ‘Mytaro AI’, a mobile app for Android that gives the experience of talking to a fortuneteller using GPT technology.

Existing tarot services were generally limited to relaying fortune tellers or short-answer answers, but this app preserves the experience of users having real-time conversations and consultations with fortune tellers.

It uses GPT technology to generate real-time answers to users’ questions, and continues a conversation between users and fortune tellers. It also provides a reunion consulting service that mixes MBTI and tarot card interpretation.

The service is claimed to be so popular that a server paralysis occurred as a result of an explosion of users inside just a few days after its launch. Through this app, it plans to enter the North American market beyond the domestic market. The North American market is price about 1.5 trillion won, and it is understood that the demand for these services is high.

To this end, Wonji Labs plans to strengthen localization together with various marketing strategies. With the discharge of this app, it is predicted that using AI technology in the sphere of fortune telling will spread.
