Microsoft (MS) announced that it should construct a recent artificial intelligence (AI) hub in London, England. It also revealed its intention to recruit talent from its biggest AI rival, Google DeepMind.
Business Insider reported on the eighth (local time) that Microsoft announced plans to determine a recent AI hub in London, England.
In line with this, the AI Hub will advance cutting-edge language models and supporting infrastructure, and drive work to develop world-class tools for foundational models. Moreover, Microsoft explains that it should give attention to developing and researching AI-related products and work closely with Microsoft's in-house AI team in addition to partners, including OpenAI.
The establishment of the AI hub is an element of Microsoft's recent announcement that it should invest 2.5 billion kilos (about 4.3 trillion won) over the subsequent three years to enhance data center infrastructure and AI technology within the UK.
“There is a large pool of AI talent within the UK, and we’re making a long-term investment within the region as we start recruiting the perfect AI scientists and engineers for our recent AI hub,” Microsoft said.
