Caliverse (CEO Dong-gyu Kim), a subsidiary of Lotte Data Communication (CEO Doo-young Ko), announced on the twelfth that it has decided to open the next-generation Metaverse Festival by signing an exclusive partnership with Tomorrowland, a specialist in electronic music festivals, on the 'CES 2024' site in Las Vegas, USA.

The plan is to construct a large-scale digital electronic music festival that can’t be experienced through existing media inside the metaverse platform ‘Caliverse’. Caliverse focuses on implementing Tomorrowland’s offline stage with sophisticated graphics. Users can benefit from the festival in real time in a web based multi-access environment.

Afterwards, we plan to disseminate DJing UGC content based on electronic music through an exclusive partnership.

Caliverse, a metaverse platform unveiled at CES 2024, uses UGC, voluntary interactive content, as a key element. The reason is that you may enjoy content by actively participating within the metaverse, and the addition of ultra-realistic graphics provides a practical experience.

Tomorrowland hosts the world's largest electronic music festival every yr, with important stages in Belgium, Brazil, and the French Alps. Within the case of Belgium, 600,000 fans visited. Within the case of the digital festival held after the pandemic, greater than 2 million tickets were sold in total.

“We’re more than happy that we’ve found the perfect partner to take our digital projects to an excellent more advanced level,” said Tomorrowland CEO Bruno Banwellsanneus.

Dong-gyu Kim, CEO of Caliverse, said, “We are going to present a recent standard for the Metaverse Festival by investing all of our technologies so that you may experience the thrill of Tomorrowland through quite a lot of devices, from PCs to HMDs and 3D TVs.”
