Gwangju Techno Park (Director Kim Young-jip) announced on the sixth that it has recently began recruiting startups for young prospective entrepreneurs within the region.

We’re in search of two start-ups to maneuver into the occupancy space of ‘i-Plex Gwangju’ through mail and door-to-door applications until the 14th. Chosen corporations can use it for six months from the date of signing the move-in contract. Residency is allowed for as much as two years, but a further one-year extension is feasible whether it is recognized that there may be high potential for global commercialization, similar to exports and overseas expansion.

As well as, I-Plex Gwangju has a 3D printer facility, ‘Biz Studio’, so it is feasible to make prototypes. Convenience facilities include an investment counseling room, meeting rooms, a youth cafe, and a cafeteria.

An official from Gwangju Technopark said, “For the successful start of resident startups, we are going to strengthen their competitiveness through various incubation programs similar to specialized education similar to investment attraction, financial management, and participation in exhibitions, in addition to customized tutoring that matches entrepreneurship experts.”
