Salesforce and Google Cloud have teamed up to assist firms higher leverage data and AI. Salesforce is positioning itself as a knowledge company, and Google is seen as a method to expand its AI services to Salesforce customers.

In line with TechCrunch on the seventh (local time), through this partnership, the 2 firms plan to assist enterprise customers use their respective data and custom AI models to predict their needs.

The partnership spans services and products, including Google’s ‘BigQuery’ tool, Salesforce’s ‘Data Cloud’ and Google’s fully managed AI platform, ‘Vertex AI’.

This partnership is the second partnership following the one in 2017. The primary focused totally on analytics and large data. The 2 firms have since expanded on the unique agreement to deepen data-sharing collaboration and construct AI-infused customer support experiences and marketing tools.

Working with Google is significant to Salesforce’s positioning as a knowledge company. In recent months, Salesforce has also introduced generative AI tools akin to EinsteinGPT and SlackGPT.

From Google’s viewpoint, this partnership has secured a channel to expand its big data evaluation and AI services to Salesforce’s greater than 150,000 corporate customer bases.

Google and Salesforce have said that the Data Cloud and Google Vertex AI integration will enter the pilot phase from July 2023 and be publicly available from October 2023. Within the case of knowledge cloud and BigQuery integration, a pilot in October 2023 and a public release from February 2024 are planned.
