Caliverse (CEO Kim Dong-gyu), a subsidiary of Lotte Innovate, announced on the twenty seventh that it introduced the ultra-realistic metaverse platform 'Caliverse' on the Tokyo Tower Prince Hotel in Japan.

This event includes famous Japanese corporations resembling Sony, NTT, Canon, Casio, Rakuten, Suntory, Hitachi, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, DMM, and Shueisha, financial corporations resembling JCB and SBI, and huge media corporations resembling Asahi TV, TBS, and Nikkei. It was reported that about 150 corporations and 400 people attended.

Dong-gyu Kim, CEO of Caliverse, said, “We were able to substantiate the keen interest of the Japanese market toward Metaverse and Web 3.0. We’re especially encouraged by the outpouring of praise for Caliverse and proposals for rapid working-level consultations. We’re planning so as to add a Japanese version inside the yr and supply content. “We plan to expand further,” he said.

Meanwhile, Caliverse launched a world early access service in Korean and English versions in January of this yr and is currently providing the service to about 5,000 people.

Through this event, we’ve established a technical cooperation relationship with Coropla, a famous Japanese game developer, and plan to proceed collaborating with TJ Media and Altaba Group in the longer term.
