Gwangju City builds a cloud environment system to confirm artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor performance within the AI data center.
Gwangju City (Mayor Kang Ki-jeong) announced on the seventeenth that it was chosen as an area government to advertise the ‘AI Semiconductor Test Verification Environment Creation Project’ by the Ministry of Science and ICT and secured 14 billion won from the federal government.
Gwangju City plans to advertise the project with a complete of 20 billion won by adding 6 billion won in city expenses. For 2 years from this 12 months to next 12 months, it would secure demonstration references through domestic AI semiconductor server networks and establish a one-stop demonstration/verification system that may confirm all compatibility, stability, usability, scalability, and performance of AI semiconductors.
To this end, it plans to pick out a business operator for ‘creation of AI semiconductor test and verification environment’ in March and construct a cloud environment inside the AI data center. Firms wishing to participate can apply by March 20.
