Meta will form a dedicated team for product development using generative artificial intelligence (AI). Because the chatbot competition heats up, Meta appears to be moving to deal with AI-based products.

The newly formed dedicated team consists of dozens of individuals from each department. The team was headed by Ahmad Al Dhale, Machine Learning and AI Executive. He used to work in Apple’s special product group.

The team reports on to Chief Product Officer Chris Cox. The intention is to further integrate AI technology across Meta’s products. It would play a job in rapidly integrating Meta’s language and image model into various products, including Instagram, Facebook and the Metaverse project.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed this on his Instagram on the twenty seventh (local time). “We’re making a latest top-tier product group focused on generative AI to bolster the sector of artificial intelligence,” he wrote in an Instagram post. I sit up for it,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, last week, Meta unveiled LLaMA, an AI language generator, as a research tool for constructing AI-based chatbots and other products, making it available to AI researchers. The choice was made to permit outsiders to see more clearly how the system worked and make adjustments as needed or collaborate on related projects.
