Apple announced that iPhone sales have increased attributable to the addition of artificial intelligence (AI) features.

Apple reported a rise in profits and sales through its quarterly earnings announcement on the first. Overall iPhone demand continued to be strong, with sales growing 6% year-on-year to succeed in $46.2 billion (roughly 63.7 trillion won). This exceeds market estimates.

Specifically, he explained that the iPhone 16, released on September 20, “recorded stronger demand within the early stages than the iPhone 15 released last 12 months,” and that it’s persuasive to imagine that that is attributable to the launch of Apple Intelligence.

Apple’s last quarter ended on September 28, and the iPhone 16 was sold for under 9 days.

Moreover, the adoption rate of iOS 18.1, which incorporates Apple Intelligence, released on the twenty eighth, was double that of iOS 17.1 a 12 months ago. “We’re excited to see our energetic installed base of devices reach recent all-time highs across all products and all geographies because of our high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Nonetheless, it expected sales to grow “low to mid-single digits” in its final quarter, including the top of the 12 months. Attributable to the poor forecast, the stock price fell about 2% in over-the-counter trading immediately after the announcement. Apple plans to release iOS 18.2 version with integrated ‘ChatGPT’ in December.

As well as, sales in China, a crucial market, decreased in comparison with the previous 12 months to $15.03 billion (about 20.73 trillion won). It fell in need of the market estimate of $15.8 billion.

He added that he will even deal with AI investment and research and development spending. CFO Luca Maestri introduced that Apple has invested heavily in R&D over the past few years and has recently reallocated some internal resources to AI.
