Naver (CEO Choi Soo-yeon) announced on the twenty eighth that it signed an MOU for ‘joint development of a tech convergence space platform’ with Aegis Asset Management, Aegis Value Plus REIT, Aegis Residence REIT, and Samwoo Architects & Engineers.
Naver Cloud and Naver Labs plan to use the technology and know-how of the Tech Convergence Constructing applied to the second constructing, ‘1784’, to the surface. The ‘Tech Convergence Space Platform’ is an idea that brings together the specialized areas of every company to create a future-oriented work and living space.
First, Naver Cloud will construct a robot delivery solution linked to Naver services resembling maps, smart places, and augmented reality (AR). It also plans to offer a consistent user experience using Naver Works, including access security, payment, parking, robot delivery order, and smart control solutions. Naver Labs will probably be answerable for research and development of related technologies resembling robots for future business spaces and tech convergence space platforms.
Aegis Asset Management and REIT will each promote the appliance of the platform to fund formation, investment, and assets held, while Samwoo Architects & Engineers will provide space construction, product packaging, and operational solutions for incorporation into the tech convergence space platform.
The ‘Tech Convergence Space Platform’ jointly developed by the six firms will first be applied to the office space ‘Taepyeong-ro Constructing’ owned by Aegis Value Ritz. In the longer term, there are plans to first apply it to the residential space owned by Aegis Residence Ritz.
