Jeollanam-do announced on the twenty fifth that it’s entering the ability generation business permit process for the primary public-led highway slope solar energy pilot project within the country.
Jeonnam, Korea Expressway Corporation, and Jeonnam Development Corporation signed a public-private partnership-type renewable energy business agreement in April and confirmed the primary project through site exploration. With the positioning confirmed, Jeonnam Development Corporation applied for an influence generation business permit on the twenty fifth.
The business site will likely be initially promoted on an area of roughly 19,830㎡ on the highway slope near Damyang IC with a capability of 1.2 megawatts (MW) and a project cost of 1.5 billion won.
