Olymplaite (CEO Kwon Jae-hyun) announced on the ninth that it is going to be conducting the first-ever ‘XR Live Streaming’ of SBS Gayo Daejeon through the XR (prolonged reality) content portal ‘XROMEDA’.
SBS will host the ‘2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer’ at Yeongjongdo Encourage Arena on the twenty first. It’s the primary K-pop festival attempted throughout the summer season among the many three broadcasting corporations.
XR content portal Xromeda has been chosen because the official broadcast platform for this 12 months’s SBS Gayo Daejun. The reason is that they can be live streaming the Gayo Daejun event using XR content.
Live tickets might be purchased from Xromeda until the tip of the Gayo Daejun on the twenty first, targeting users from all countries world wide except Japan.
Kim Min-woo, head of Xromeda’s business division, said, “This concert can be the primary immersive XR live concert to utilize XR content at SBS Gayo Daejeon.” He added, “Starting with the streaming presented on this XR portal, we are going to actively hunt down collaboration opportunities with partners who possess killer mental property (IP) rights and proceed to build up diverse content for users to enjoy.”
