Reuters and Bloomberg reported on the eighth (local time) that Garante, Italy's personal information protection organization, has begun an investigation into Sora and requested OpenAI to supply details about Sora.
In keeping with Garante, Italian regulators haven’t identified the Sora service as an issue, but “an investigation is needed given the possible impact on the processing of users' personal data in Italy.”
