Haenam -gun has begun researching the demonstration of farming solar cultivation models.
Haenam -gun announced on the eleventh that it installed a 1000 square meter -type solar facility on a 3000 square meter (㎡) site within the land reclamation and accomplished the planting work last week.
The demonstration study will likely be conducted for 3 years from June to May 2028, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Farming solar light is a renewable energy convergence model that allows cultivation and power production by installing solar panels on farmland.
Specifically, the Solar City city of Haenam -gun will establish AI Global Data Center Hub, which will likely be established, and securing various renewable energy to cover large -scale power demand is an important task.
Haenam is predicted to determine a win -win structure between agricultural and high -tech industries by establishing a foundation for farmers’ participation in farming solar energy projects, and increasing the independence of renewable energy within the region.
