Suncheon Ordinance Lake Park Promenade, Dark Dinner. There may be an exhibition space where you’ll be able to open the door quietly. Like its name, it’s a museum that opens when it becomes.
Outwardly, it’s a small small container box, not a special constructing or a big exhibition hall.
Nonetheless, the exhibitions held here have been soaked within the lives of 1 or two people, leaving a heavy sound in Suncheon community.
This small night’s exhibition hall, not the middle of the town or the mainstream of the art world, has created a singular point of contact between art, every day life, and regions and folks for the past few years.
After sunset, the exhibitions meet by probability while walking along the lake park promenade after sunset.
The ‘Museum of Art’ opened up the density of time and appreciation, somewhat than a deeper immersion and resonance.
In some unspecified time in the future, local residents began to call this place ‘Lake where art comes at night’.
On the night of the museum, the lake’s promenade is crammed with quiet expectations, and people who have finished their every day work stand in front of the works of a small art museum.
The afterimage of the painting within the lake where the sun goes down stays long conversations and memories. The museum has added cultural ‘humidity’ to the community.
And this June, one other warm wave is spreading within the museum. This hero is Kim Okay -ran, a western artist.

He drew the heat of the landscape, people, and a bowl of rice. His work is on display for a month in June.
Kim Okay -ran’s exhibition is of course in contact with the identity of the museum. Sincerity than sensible techniques, pictures with more calm scenery than dramatic scenes.
So as to proceed the cultural space of the region, it shouldn’t be enough to easily ‘eat’ art. That must be on a regular basis, and it must be a stimulus that changes the sensitivity of life.
The Art Museum held when it becomes an exemplary model in that regard. The wave of art created by this museum is becoming a slow revolution that changes the emotions and senses of the region.
Kim Okay -ran’s exhibition can be in such a wave. One picture, a bowl of rice, and one person’s life becomes art and divulges the night. The museum continues to be quietly open after the sun.
