The US government has launched its first regulatory bill for artificial intelligence (AI). But that is about Deep Fake Porn.
President Donald Trump signed a law on the prohibition of deep fakes and revenge pornography submitted by the National Assembly on Monday.
This bill is a strict punishment of the act of distributing blatant images without agreement, whether it’s the unique or AI. In addition to image publishers, social media firms and online platforms must delete the content inside 48 hours of notification.
Many states have been banned, but that is the primary time a federal government has been restricted to Web firms.
President Trump said in a signing ceremony, “This law will probably be the primary federal law to ban the distribution of blatant images posted without the consent of the parties.”
Nevertheless, some free media free organizations and digital rights groups expressed concern that this law could lead on to censorship of legitimate images. In america, porn is legal.
