Google launches ‘Notebook LM’ mobile app. Disclosure sooner or later ahead of the developer meeting

Google has launched a mobile app, a well-liked artificial intelligence (AI) tool, LM (NotebookLM) mobile app. It was scheduled to be released consistent with the annual developer’s event ‘I/O’, which will probably be held on the twentieth (local time), nevertheless it was introduced a day earlier.

Google launched Android and iOS version apps of NotebookLM on the nineteenth. Within the meantime, the services which have been used only on desktops have been expanded to mobile and enhanced usability.

Following the launch of the mobile app, users can create latest notes, view existing notes, and add web sites, PDFs, and YouTube videos. This can be supported by Korean.

Especially noteworthy is ‘Audio Overviews’. It is a podcast created by AI based on the info uploaded by the user, and background playback and offline support can be available. This enables users to learn or learn information on the go.

It also supports light and dark mode that robotically switches based on the system setting, and provides an intuitive and versatile user environment on mobile devices.

The surprise release is raising the expectation that Google will release more features and future plans for laptop LM in I/O 2025 Keynote. Since its first release in 2023, the notebook LM has established itself as a useful AI helper for college students, researchers and knowledge employees.
