Open AI is understood to enter social media based on greater than 800 million users. Sam Altman’s remarks, which mentioned the event of social media twice, weren’t a joke.
The Virgin quoted numerous sources on the sixteenth and reported that Open AI is developing a social media network just like X (Twitter).
Based on this, the project continues to be in its initial stage. The interior prototype is being developed that focuses on the image creation function of the chat GPT and can also be equipped with social feed functions.
Altman, CEO, has privately asked external officials for the project. It continues to be unclear whether this social network shall be released as a separate app or to integrate it right into a chat GPT. Openai didn’t reveal its official position on this.
When open AI enters this field, it is probably going that competition shall be heated with CEO Illon Musk, which is already fiercely nervous. When the Musk CEO said in February that he would acquire Open AI for $ 97.4 billion, Altman said, “Thanks, but when you desire to take over Twitter for $ 9.74 billion.”
Competition with Meta can also be expected. When a report that Meta is launching AI assistant as a stand -alone app appeared in February, Altman CEO responded to X, “Good, we are going to create a social app.”
Social media also helps with chat GPT services. It is because it could possibly provide user data in real time, search and use it for model learning.
It also helps to share content resembling Ghibli style image created by AI. For instance, Musk CEO has integrated X and XAI. An official said, “The mixing of that rock and X has envyed everyone,” he said. “Especially, it’s the best way people make viral tweets by inducing people to say silly words.”
Sources said that the social media project would take priority since the open AI has loads of projects.
Nevertheless, the news is predicted to have the opportunity to threaten existing X and meta without delay, if open AI, which has recently surpassed 800 million users, entered social media based on an enormous user.
