US President Donald Trump says there are 4 US consortiums which might be negotiated to take over TikTalk, and so they may finish the negotiations before the deadline.
In line with Bloomberg, President Trump said on the tenth (local time), “We’re coping with 4 other groups, and plenty of people need to take over Tic Talk.”
It didn’t reveal where it was in negotiations and which groups are advantageous. Nevertheless, “all 4 are good,” he added that the negotiations could soon be accomplished.
The news of the acquisition of TikTalk has been a protracted time. President Trump signed an administrative order on January 20, just after his inauguration, postponed TikTalk’s ban on the US service in america and finds the acquisition. And the deadline is April fifth.
Last week, it could extend the period as needed. In consequence, questions on the negotiations of the acquisition were poured out and that there was no problem.
The bids have been released to date, including a bunch led by billionaire Frank McCourt, a bunch of famous YouTuber Mr. Beast, and AI search company Perplex City. Trump also said that Oracle and Microsoft are also interested.
However, the news that the Chinese government has approved the sale of Tic Talk has not yet been reported.
