In response to the British government’s artificial intelligence (AI) copyright policy, 1,000 artists released their records. However the song on this album is just not a song. It’s a ‘silent’ album that warns what’s going to occur in the event you release copyrights.
The 1000 UK Artist Group released the album and released the sound source on the twenty fourth to protest the British government. The title is’Is that this what we would like (is that this what we would like?)‘all.
The album consists of 12 single titles. Listing this so as, ‘The British Goverment Must to Profit AI Corporations’ is a sentence.
Each song is a 3-4 minutes like a typical pop track, which is a set of noise of empty studios or venues.
Famous singers and artists were full. Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, Imozen Hip, Billy Ocean, The Clash, Cat Stevens, and lots of of famous classics and film musicians comparable to Hans Zimmer, Max Richter and Thomas Site Jones were co -composers.
The joint album is the biggest because the band Aid, released within the UK in 1984.
Currently, the British government is discussing amendments to the Copyright Law, which allows copyright content for use as learning data in the event of the AI model. It’s a technique to draw more AI firms to the UK.
This includes the correct to refuse the creators to forestall their work from getting used for AI learning, but that is an ‘opt-out’ method that musicians must actively reject their intentions. As well as, criticism has been raised that it’s difficult to ensure that creations are literally used for learning.
For that reason, the Beatles member Paul McCartney insisted in January that the British government should strengthen its copyright. Recently, legendary singer Elton John announced the identical position.
Composer Ed Newton-Rex, who led the discharge of the album, was a one who was in control of the staff of the Staffa and left the copyright policy. There are also other campaigns that oppose AI education without license.
All donations and proceeds from this album will likely be delivered to charity.
