The Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Sang -im Yoo) announced on the twelfth that it plans to pick out two tasks and choose two tasks by announcing the ‘AI -linked artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor leading technology talent’ project.
The announcement is from February 13 to March 0. It’s a 2025 latest project in accordance with the AI-Semiconductor Promotion Strategy, which incorporates technology innovation within the AI semiconductor field, creating an ecosystem, and planning for human resources.
Domestic AI semiconductor corporations and universities are preparing research-curriculum considering the demand of commercial fields, and 20 students (10 people this 12 months) take part in annually.
The 2 tasks chosen through this contest will receive a median annual average of two billion won (1 billion won this 12 months) for as much as six years. Each university, which is able to perform the duty, must organize and operate the ‘AI Pollution Innovation Research Institute’.
