OpenAI is making a calculated return to robotics, 4 years after disbanding its original program. It’s currently recruiting for 3 roles: an electrical sensing engineer, a robotics mechanical engineer, and a technical project manager. These hires will spearhead the creation of adaptive robotic systems designed to operate in dynamic, real-world environments, progressing beyond simulation through iterative refinement.
