What inspired you to co-found Clari, and the way has the corporate evolved under your leadership to grow to be a pacesetter in revenue operations and AI-powered revenue orchestration?
Clari was born from a single, undeniable force: pain. The pain of missed forecasts, lost deals, and revenue slipping through the cracks. That pain sparked a relentless pursuit to remodel how firms run revenue — and win.
Before Clari, I used to be a part of massive Silicon Valley sales teams, and I experienced first hand how running effective revenue is a core challenge that impacts everyone from the front-line seller to the Chief Revenue Officer. GTM teams all over the place know this pain — wrestling with limitless spreadsheets, debating data discrepancies, and, ultimately, struggling to know learn how to drive predictable revenue growth. In reality, firms are still leaving over $2 trillion on the table attributable to fractured revenue processes.
My co-founder, Venkat Rangan, and I noticed there was a profound gap out there: CRMs weren’t built to administer the revenue process or accurately predict if an organization would “meet, beat, or miss” its revenue goals. Fast forward to today, most of the world’s private and public market winners depend on Clari to drive revenue at every level of their organizations. We’re so honored that 1,500 customers trust Clari to unravel the toughest problem in revenue: accurately driving predictable revenue performance at scale.
