Korea’s leading AI corporations introduced their corporations to students and shared employment information on the ‘2024 Artificial Intelligence Festival’ held at Kyungpook National University in Daegu on the twenty seventh.
On this present day, a briefing session for participating corporations was held together with a company exhibition at Kyungha Hall, Global Plaza, Kyungpook National University.
In the primary session, Professor Kim Il-kyung of Kyungpook National University gave a presentation on the subject of AI industry-academia cooperation platform and company cooperation plans. Kim Man-soo, Managing Director of Conan Technology, introduced Conan Technology’s defense AI technology and major solutions under the theme of ‘Use of artificial intelligence and digital twins within the defense industry.’ The reason is that using large language models (LLM) in defense can quickly analyze massive data and support real-time battlefield situation prediction and tactical decisions.
Funjin, which was chosen as considered one of the highest 100 defense industry innovation corporations and is developing defense AI staff, also participated. Director Wi Hyeong-seok of Newtune, a music creation AI specialist, gave a presentation on the direction of Newtune’s technology development under the theme of ‘Mix Audio: The Way forward for AI Music Generation’. Director Wi added, “I hope that talented individuals who haven’t only technology but in addition a love and basic knowledge of music will take lots of interest in Newtune.”

“Twice as many AI corporations participated within the event in comparison with last 12 months,” said Jeong Ho-young, head of the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Convergence University Project Group, which hosted the event. “As AI corporations in various fields prepared company introductions and experiences, students also participated of their respective majors.” “I hope there will probably be interest in utilizing and applying AI,” he said.
