Metaverse specialist Data King (CEO Park Seon-gyu) held the K-Next Reality Export Promising Metaverse Latest York event, supported by the Korean American Chamber of Commerce Rifle Association (Steering Committee Chairman Kim Seong-jin), the Korean-American Ministry of Science and ICT, and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, through the ‘Korean-American’ event in Latest York. It was announced on the 4th that an MOU was signed on ‘Utilization of Metaverse Museum exhibition contents for history education for 2- and 3-year-old children and adolescents.’

The Korean American Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit economic organization comprised of 78 regional chambers of commerce within the Americas. It is a company that represents the interests of 300,000 Korean small business owners across the USA and supports Korean-American businesses and Korean import and export firms in advancing into the USA.

Through this agreement, Data King plans to supply ‘360VR Museum’ museum exhibition contents in order that children and teenagers living in the USA can experience and educate themselves on various points of Korean history. The reason is that it provides help to cultivate identity and historical consciousness as Koreans.

360VR Museum Content is a platform that means that you can view domestic museum exhibition contents, including those on the National Museum of Korea, in three-dimensional 3D virtual reality (VR). It currently has 1 million users.

Seon-gyu Park, CEO of Data King, said, “Currently, there’s a severe lack of Korean history educational content in the USA.” He added, “Through this agreement, we are going to cooperate with various organizations, including regional chambers of commerce across the country, the Latest York Korean Association, and the Korean-American Heritage Society, to teach second- and third-generation Koreans.” “We plan to take the lead in disseminating history education content for the longer term.”
