Olymplanet (CEO Kwon Jae-hyun) announced on the 14th that it can present the ‘K-Heritage Art Exhibition, Pan Aho-yeon (盤牙浩然)’ XR exhibition hosted by Sabers Korea on the immersive prolonged reality (XR) content portal ‘Xromeda’.
‘K-Heritage Ban-A-Ho-Yeon’ is an exhibition held by Savers Korea and Malika until the twenty fifth. It’s being held on the ‘Sodaeheon-Ho-Yeon-Jae House’ in Daejeon, which is designated as a national folk cultural heritage. While looking across the house, you may see a complete of 64 works including crafts, paintings, and sculptures by 25 intangible cultural heritage and latest contemporary artists.
For the XR exhibition, it can be operated freed from charge from the 14th on the web-based XR portal Exromeda. Its characteristic is that anyone can easily enjoy cultural heritage content in an internet environment anytime, anywhere, even when they can not go to the exhibition site as a consequence of physical constraints.
Particularly, 23 of the works exhibited on site were implemented as XR content through 3D scanning. Each exhibit might be viewed from all directions, 360 degrees.
Kim Min-woo, head of the Exromeda business division, said, “That is an ideal opportunity for many who have difficulty visiting the positioning as a consequence of various restrictions,” and added, “In the longer term, we are going to discover opportunities for collaboration with related organizations related to cultural heritage and tourism, and expand ‘K-content’ that expresses our unique identity into the worldwide market by combining it with XR technology.”
