Cats have been named the preferred subject on the Web amongst AI-generated images. The story is that cats, traditional social media stars, have turn out to be viral subjects again because of AI and short forms.

The Washington Post reported on the third, “The Web’s Most Beloved Animal Gets a Surprising AI Transformation.” It explained that a small industry has sprung up around AI-generated cat videos.

Yunus Duigulu, who recently began his profession as a creator, was introduced as a representative example.

He created an Instagram account, TikTok, and YouTube channel called “Tales of AI Cats” in March and commenced posting humorous story videos using generated images of cats with doe eyes. In only a number of months, he gained over 109,000 followers on Instagram and tens of millions of views on TikTok.

Due to the recognition of short-form content, similar content is currently recording tens of tens of millions of views on social media and YouTube.

Particularly, it was reported that there’s an abundance of short stories within the type of slideshows, not only easy images. A representative example is The story of a cat who lost its owner and have become discouragedall.

Cats have long been a key subject of online viral content. In the US, images akin to the tie-wearing “business cat” and the “keyboard-playing cat” quickly gained popularity.

“Cats are universal, no matter platform,” says Luke Anderson, co-founder of Los Angeles-based production studio Jugstar Pose Studios.

Now, cats are combining generative AI and the short-form trend to turn out to be an early example of the viral content trend again.

“The Web has gotten to the purpose where a variety of individuals are attempting to disconnect from reality,” said Nick Nordlinger, managing director of Meme Inside, an online trends journal. “People want to go away the human-dominated world and enter a world ruled by cats.”

Cats are also said to have the flexibility to transcend languages, cultures, and generations. “If you happen to change the lyrics of a song to a meow, most individuals will get it,” says Jason Koebler, co-founder of 404 Media.

But some AI cat storylines have been criticized as bizarre. One YouTube channel with over 150,000 subscribers featured a cat popping up a Walmart and killing one other cat. One other video of a cat dropping a phone in a rest room has garnered 75 million views on YouTube.

It’s identified that such videos may be traumatic, especially for youngsters, who’re the most important viewers of cat videos. It has recently turn out to be popular to indicate cat videos to young children, and amongst them, A toddler cries in shock after watching a cat videobecame a meme.

Here, the sphere is showing a trend of small-scale industrialization, akin to how you can earn money with cat AI stories, riding on this popularity. “You’ll be able to earn money out of your channel in 30 days” “Create a viral AI cat with tens of millions of views” Videos like this appeared.

Meanwhile, there was also an evaluation that the majority viewers obsessive about cat videos are people who find themselves bored with human relationships.

“I see so many comments telling me not to incorporate humans in my videos,” said creator Abhishek Choudhary. “People want an escape. They see themselves on this innocent cat.”
