The Film Archive (CEO Jin-hae Kim) announced on the twenty sixth that it’s going to be accepting entries for the ‘Busan International Artificial Intelligence Film Festival (BIAIF)’ starting on August 1st.
BIAIF, held from December sixth to eighth, is an event to contribute to AI technology utilization cases and AI film industry and aesthetics. It’s a separate film festival hosted by the Film Hall, unrelated to the present Busan International Film Festival.
This contest shall be a world competition, and only movies accomplished after 2023 are eligible to enter.
Works by which AI technology is used partially or all of a movie, with no genre restrictions. Nevertheless, the running time of the submitted work should be 3 to quarter-hour excluding credits. Submissions to the competition are Film Festival HomepageIt might be done through .

The ultimate winner shall be announced on the closing ceremony. The movies that made it to the primary competition shall be screened on the Film Archive throughout the festival, and various side events, including a ‘Conversation with the Director’, are also being prepared.
The prize money for a complete of 4 works is 22,000 dollars (roughly 30 million won), and awards shall be given out differentially, including the ‘Best AI Creative Film Award.’
