Germany installed 7.55 gigawatts (GW) of latest solar energy systems in the primary half of the 12 months, bringing its total installed capability to 90.2 GW.
Germany’s Federal Network Agency announced on the seventeenth (local time) that 1.13 GW of latest solar energy systems were registered in June, a big increase in comparison with 0.946 GW in May and 1.047 GW in June 2023.
In the primary half of this 12 months, newly installed PV capability in Germany reached 7.55 GW, up from 6.26 GW in the identical period last 12 months. The cumulative installed PV capability in Germany now stands at 90.2 GW across some 4.26 million PV systems.

By region, Bavaria was essentially the most notable, adding around 1.76 GW in the primary half of the 12 months, followed by Baden-Württemberg (1.08 GW) and North Rhine-Westphalia (1.02 GW).
