The Jeonnam Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced that it’s recruiting students for the ‘2024 Jeonnam Software (SW) Education Specialist Instructor Training Course’ to foster leaders who will lead future digital education.
This training is being conducted as a part of the Software (SW) Future Filling Project, implemented by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency and supported by Jeollanam-do, Naju City, and Jeollanam-do Office of Education.
Any job seeker with a highschool diploma or higher residing in South Jeolla Province can take part in this training, which can run for a complete of 164 hours (80 hours online, 84 hours offline) from August to October, and can concentrate on education in computational pondering, basic programming, data science, AI practice, etc., to strengthen the sensible capabilities required within the software (SW) education field.
Specifically, after completing the training, you shall be given the chance to work as a Jeonnam Software (SW) Future Filling instructor at kid’s centers, schools for disabled youth, small schools in distant islands and rural areas in areas with insufficient SW/AI education opportunities, through a separate appointment process by the Promotion Agency.

Meanwhile, the Promotion Agency has been carrying out the Software (SW) Future Filling Project since 2019 to resolve the imbalance in digital education within the province and expand its base, and has been constantly striving to create an area digital education ecosystem by fostering SW expert instructors and expanding support for various digital education schemes.
