The National Intelligence Service (NIS, President Jong-seong Hwang) announced on the fifth that it held an information session on the mandatory establishment of the 2024 SOC business intelligence information plan with the Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Jong-ho Lee) on the Sejong Government Complex.
The briefing session was designed to assist central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions understand the general system.
The mandatory system for establishing an intelligent information plan for SOC projects is in accordance with Article 11 of the Framework Act on Intelligent Information and Article 9 of the Enforcement Decree of the identical Act. The heads of central administrative agencies and native governments who plan to implement social infrastructure projects or regional development projects must establish and reflect an intelligent information plan for the utilization and linked use of intelligent information technology when establishing and implementing the relevant project plan.
