Arrested for cheating on Turkye University entrance exam using ‘ChatGPT’

Turkiye authorities arrested a student on charges of using ‘ChatGPT’ through the university entrance exam.

Reuters reported on the eleventh (local time) that police within the Isparta region, southwestern Turkye, arrested and sent to prison a student named Mee for cheating by bringing a tool connected to ChatGPT into the national university entrance examination center last weekend.

Based on this, the coed hid a tool that connects to the skin world in the only real of his shoe and took an image of the issue with the camera on his shirt button and sent it to the skin world. When the accomplice solved the issue through Chat GPT outside, she used the strategy of writing down the reply using earphones.

The scholar, who was discovered cheating as a consequence of unnatural behavior through the test, was detained by the police, then arrested and sent to prison to face trial.

As well as, two accomplices who assisted within the illegal activities from outside were also detained, and have now been released after completing the investigation. The police also released the equipment utilized in the misconduct and a video demonstrating it.

Turkiye authorities said that this case was an example of a strict crackdown on exam cheating methods which might be becoming increasingly sophisticated with the arrival of latest technologies.

He also warned that such deceptive practices is not going to be tolerated in the educational field.
