The US Chamber of Commerce issued a report on the ninth (local time) calling for regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in order that they don’t hamper growth or pose a national security risk, Reuters reported.
That is an exceptional situation that’s the exact opposite of the same old anti-regulation stance.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce said, “The rapidly growing AI program has produced many surprises by quickly obtaining the required answers, but appropriate regulation is required to forestall negative effects attributable to misuse or abuse because the relevant law has not yet been enacted.” background explained.
“Inside 20 years, just about all businesses and government agencies will use AI,” he said.
